Who we are
Portal status: the site is under construction. Below we describe what we will work on in the coming stages.
What we will do
- Laboratory — measurements of AI systems in Polish: test suites, scorecards, open data.
- Observatory — AI in public administration: freedom-of-information requests and a register of systems.
- Help desk — support for people harmed by a decision made by an AI system.
Why we exist
According to its statute, the Foundation's purpose is activity in the areas of artificial intelligence, new technologies, technological justice, protection of human rights, digital education and culture, and information security — in particular public oversight of the use of AI systems, and research into their behaviour and impact on human rights and freedoms.

Transparency and independence
The Foundation is independent of public authorities, political parties and businesses, in particular providers of AI systems that may be the subject of its work. We publicly disclose our sources of funding, organisational structure and statutory tasks — details on the Finances page.
