Independence rules
- The Foundation is independent of public authorities, political parties and businesses, in particular providers and users of AI systems that may be the subject of its work.
- It publicly discloses its sources of funding, organisational structure and statutory tasks, including every donor whose payments exceeded 10% of the Foundation's revenue in a financial year (unless the donor reserved anonymity permitted by law — in that case we disclose the amount and the category of the donor).
- The Foundation's total revenue from businesses in the AI sector may not exceed 30% of its revenue in a financial year.
- The Management Board adopts a conflict-of-interest policy that also covers people who fund the Foundation.
