Observatory

The Observatory deals with artificial intelligence in public administration: public information requests and a register of systems.

What this department does

• We ask public institutions whether, and which, AI systems and algorithms they use on people.
• The answers collected are meant to go into a register of systems.
• Anyone can ask such questions on their own behalf. The request generator is for that.

Public information request generator

You pick the questions and enter your details, and your browser composes the letter. You can copy it, print it or open it in your own mail program.

The generator runs in your browser. It sends nothing to the foundation’s server.
